Dr. Austin Wontepaga Luguterah is a Senior Lecturer of Physical Education and Sports at the department of Physical Education and Sport Studies, University of Ghana. He holds a first degree in Health and Physical Education from the University of Education, Winneba, and master’s degrees in public administration (University of Ghana) and Sports Management (Johan Cruyff Institute), and a doctorate degree in Public Administration (Sport Policy) from University of South Africa.

Professionally, Dr Luguterah holds certificates in sports Management, sports event management, coaching effectiveness, and coaching certificates in Athletics (IAAF), volleyball (FIVB), badminton (BWF), and basketball (FIBA). He is also the vice president of Ghana Volleyball Association, and the President of Development Commission of Zone 3 - African Volleyball Confederation.

Dr. Luguterah has more than 26 years of experience in teaching physical education from basic school through to the University. He has been involved in several physical activity and sports projects developed by the department of Physical Education and Sports Studies, University of Ghana. He has been instrumental in developing a lifestyle physical activity program for members
of the University of Ghana Community. His areas of expertise include physical activities and lifestyle modification, sports coaching, Sport policy and Governance.
