Dr. Hana M. Broulikova

Hana M. Broulíková is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Sciences, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She completed two master programmes in economics at Tilburg University and also Prague University of Economics and Business, where she obtained her PhD in 2019.

During her PhD studies, she was awarded Fulbright Scholarship for a research stay at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University. Her thesis Decision Analytic Modeling in Mental Health: Simulating Cost-Effectiveness of Alzheimer’s Disease Timely Treatment won awards by the Czech Alzheimer Foundation, Czech Demographic Society, and the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at Prague University of Economics and Business.

Before joining the Vrije Universiteit, she worked at the Czech National Institute of Mental Health on evaluation of the major reform of mental healthcare. Hana Broulíková served as a national coordinator for dementia responsible for the development of Czech dementia strategy at the Ministry of Health, and currently advises on its implementation.
